Before Los Gatos was rocked by the Loma Prieta Earthquake (1989), the Los Gatos Networking Group was formed in 1986 by four entrepreneurs who had a vision of developing professional and business relationships in Los Gatos. Don Moser, Mike Destro, Mike Moresco and Jim Doss, who referred to themselves as the “four sopranos” thought it would be beneficial to their business to meet on a weekly basis to discuss their business. By getting to know the members in the group on a more personal level, it made it more natural to encourage the professional and business growth of its individual members. The group met in the restaurant at the Los Gatos Lodge and soon the referrals within the group started to flourish.   

The group is open to anyone who has a business that impacts Los Gatos and does not actively compete with a current member of the group. Most of the current members in the group have been active members for over 20 years.  Having outgrown the Los Gatos Lodge and the need to meet on a weekly basis, the group now meets twice a month (the second and fourth Fridays) at the Three Degrees restaurant in the Toll House Hotel. Three decades later, the Los Gatos Networking Group has multiplied to twenty members and we continue to actively promote the professional and business relationship of our members in Los Gatos.
